Open Connection Digest
Usage
Want to help your team keep up with all their connection requests that require their attention? Bema’s Open Connects Digest allows you send them a scheduled email with all the requests assigned to them. While typically you’ll want to send this to anyone with an assigned request, you can also configure the job to limit the recipients based upon a select group.
The job allows you to configure:
Email Template
Limited Recipient Group
Limit to Select Opportunity Types
Settings for the Email.
Job Configuration
The job that will send the emails is called ‘com.bemaservices.Jobs.ConnectionRequestEmailDigest’. Below is an explanation of each settings.
Connection Opportunities – This lets you select which Connection Opportunities to send emails for.
Include All Requests – If enabled, a list of each request by Opportunity Type with a link by to the request will be included in the email.
Include Opportunity Breakdown – If enabled a section showing a breakdown of all Connection Requests by Status is included.
Save Communication History – This determines if the emails should be saved as communications on the recipient’s communication history.
Connection Group – Selecting a group here will limit who receives the notifications emails. By Default, this is left blank, so that anyone with assigned connections is emailed. Note: This is a big change from V1. In V1, this setting also selected everyone in children groups. This is no longer the case.
System Email – This is the system email to use as a template. A sample template has been installed for you. In many cases you won’t even need to make any changes.

As mentioned above, this plugin adds a new system email ‘Admin Tools > Communications > System Emails’. You can adjust this template to fit your needs. Below is a sample of what the email will display.
