Using Scheduled Event Payments without end dates
In some cases, you may want to have scheduled event payments without any end dates, like tuition payments. To set those up, navigate to your registration instance and click on the Attribute Values tab. Next, check the Enforce No Scheduled Payment End Date checkbox. This attribute, when checked, allows you to schedule payments without an end date. The default setting is to charge the full registration cost annually, with options to pay at other frequencies instead.
Afterwards, if you would like to limit the frequencies that people can make payments, select the ones you want to allow from the Available Transaction Frequencies list. Any frequency that you selected and that the selected financial provider supports will be available when scheduling payments.
Now, after people register for your instance, they’ll be presented with the following confirmation screen. The confirmation screen and email have been updated to display a link for further payments without end dates in addition to ones that do have them.
After clicking on the link to schedule additional payments, They’ll be presented with the screen below.
By default, it will show the payments broken down yearly, with the annual payment amount being the total discounted cost for the registration. However, you can select a different frequency of payments from the Frequency dropdown.
From there you can confirm your scheduled transaction:
